Year 5 have produced some absolutely wonderful solar systems over the holidays! I am thrilled and very proud of them all! Take a look…
A reminder that your homework for next term (due in on Wednesday 6th January 2016) is to create a model solar system. Think of the planets in relation to the sun, and maybe even include the moon.
Be creative and enjoy!
During the next half term we will be learning about ‘’Earth and Space’. Our focus in science will be on the shapes and relative sizes of the Earth, Sun and Moon. We will be using models to explain how the three bodies move relative to each other and how these movements relate to night and day.
As part of this, your homework over Christmas is to find three interesting facts about Earth and Space that you think no one else will know and post these facts here as a comment.
Good luck and Merry Christmas.
